BENDOO is run by Bert Hiddink and Els Verberne, two senior programmers with over 8 years of experience with internet-related technologies. Bert Hiddink is also co-founder of the GALILEO Foundation (Costa Rica, Central America), and as a Director, he has lead this organization for several years.
Being part of the open source community for years, they have learned that the rapid evolutionary process regards open source products results in better software than the traditional closed model, in which only a very few programmers can see the source and everybody else must blindly use an opaque block of bits.
